Changing Order Instructions & Fulfillment Directions
In the Confirmation page at the end of checkout, as well as in the Confirmation email (the 1st email that the customer receives which is in the default templates for most stores), you can customize the messages using two SPCs (Service Provider Configurations).
2. Go to Stores → Service Provider Configurations
3. Select Store: Select the applicable Store from the drop-down
4. Select Service Provider Type: Select Checkout Settings from the drop-down
5. To update the Order Instructions (order_instructions_md):
- Select Service Provider: Select Order Settings from the drop-down
- Results should appear in the list that have Order Settings set
- Select the Fulfillment Type that needs the Order Instructions updated
- Scroll down and update the Order Instructions field
- Save update
6. To update the Fulfillment Directions (fulfillment_directions_md):
- Select Service Provider: Select Fulfillment from the drop-down
- Results should appear in the list that have Fulfillment set
- Select the Fulfillment Type that needs the Order Instructions updated
- Scroll down and update the Fulfillment Directions field
- Save update
