Freshop White Label App Overview

Freshop White Label App Overview

Freshop clients can choose to have their own store branded app. Shoppers may use the camera to scan barcodes to add to their list or check items off their list while shopping in the store*. Freshop will set up the app in both iOS and Android.
To get started, please complete the White Label Client Info and share a copy with your Project Manager: White Label Client Info
Once your app is live, you will be notified via email as any updates are released.

* The App does not ask for contacts, photos, or messages. (It asks for location and camera. We never ask for contacts, messages or photos, though we do ask to use the camera if you want to scan products.)

Per Google Play, the Android App has access to: Location, approximate location (network-based), precise location (GPS and network-based), Camera, take pictures and videos, Other, receive data from Internet, view network connections, full network access, prevent device from sleeping.

As for iOS:  When opened it asks to use location; when opening the scanner it asks to use the camera. Both of these can be denied, and permissions can be changed via the settings. The app now asks if you would like to use touch id or face id to sign in. You can deny biometric entry as well and this setting can be turned off in the app settings.
