Order Push Notifications for Personal Shoppers

As of 12/2/19 stores with eCommerce now have Push Notification Lists set up in the Freshop Admin and can now receive push notifications for new orders.

We have manually enabled it for users that have a Personal Shopper Role assigned to them with their corresponding lists, so as long as they are signed in to the app, they should be getting push notifications. 

Please Note: At this time, you can only subscribe to the lists using the Web Admin. The App (Android & iOS versions) still need to be updated to display the lists and make the necessary calls for subscribe & unsubscribe. 

New admin users will have to opt-in to the list in the P rofile  section on  admin.freshop.com



Scroll down to the Subscriptions section and select the boxes for the applicable stores you would like to receive the Push Notifications for. Be sure to select the Save button once finished. 



If personal shoppers are not getting the notifications, they will need to do the following steps:
  1. Make sure that they've updated the app to the latest version
  2. Check if they've enabled notifications for the Freshop for Stores app in their settings on the device (This step is crucial as they will not receive the notifications if it is not enabled on the device)
  3. Log out and log back into the app
