Printing Bag Tags Guide: Chrome and Windows

It is highly recommended that you use Chrome for printing as it is the only browser supported for Mac and is much easier to set up for Windows vs IE. Download Chrome

Note for Windows: At this time Microsoft Edge does not support custom margins and so is unable to properly print labels. At this time only IE 10 and IE 11 are supported for printing labels.

Print CSS is optimized for printing using the following settings:

Chrome
Brother QL-700/QL-710/QL-710w/QL-810/QL-810w
  • Destination: Brother QL-700/QL-710/QL-710w/QL-810/QL-810w
  • Layout: Portrait
  • Paper size: 2.4″ x 3.9″ or custom_z_62x100mm
  • Margins: Minimum
  • Scale: 100
  • Headers and footers: Unchecked
  • Background graphics: Unchecked
Citizen CT-S2000
  • Layout: Portrait
  • Paper size: 72mm x 100mm
  • Margins: Custom (0.11″ x 0.11″)

Print Driver Printing Preferences
Basic
  • Paper size: 2.4″ x 3.9″
  • Orientation: Portrait
IE
Brother QL-700/QL-710/QL-710w/QL-810/QL-810w

At this time Microsoft Edge does not support custom margins and so is unable to properly print labels
  • Ensure that the Brother QL-700/QL-710/QL-710w/QL-810/QL-810w printer is set as the default printer
  • If IE is open while updating the default printer and/or print driver preferences it will need to be closed and reopened to ensure settings take affect

Print Driver Printing Preferences
Advanced

  • Halftone: For logo and text Binary
  • Continuous Tape Format (Settings)

Create a new format with the following options
  • Name: 2.4″ x 3.9″
  • Width: 2.4″
  • Length: 3.9″
  • Feed: 0.12

Select the newly created format and exit the Continuous Tape Format Settings screen

Windows Page Setup
  • Layout: Portrait
  • Paper size: 2.4″ x 3.9″
  • Margins: Custom (0.11″ x 0.116″)
  • Headers and Footers: -Empty-
